EU Regulation Costs Rise £17 Billion

The EU is about to cost us another £17 billion each year as its emissions quota scheme starts, and an artificial market begins in emission trading - see the EU Referendum site.

Oh but you don't understand, why do you have to focus on the negative side. If we didn't belong to the EU, over half of the UK's civil servants would lose their jobs as the flow of regulations became a trickle. Then they would not be able to meddle in our lives.

I don't see any problem: I understand the UK is now working on its own fat quota scheme to tackle obesity, with a fat trading market to enable over-eaters to avoid ingestion penalties.
